YSS Marine & Salvage provides vessel assistance and emergency response support throughout Hood Canal and nearby waters. We help coordinate and deliver on-water support when a vessel requires stabilization, assessment, or professional assistance beyond routine docking and maintenance.
Our goal is a calm, safety-first response with clear communication and practical solutions—especially when conditions, access, or time are critical.
Assistance Services May Include
- On-water assessment and stabilization support
- Underwater inspection to identify issues (as appropriate)
- Support for grounded, swamped, or partially submerged vessels
- Coordination with marinas, ports, or harbormasters as needed
- Documentation for owner or insurance reporting
Environmental Protection & Spill Mitigation
- Initial containment and mitigation of minor fuel or fluid releases, as conditions and authorization allow
- Actions to help reduce further environmental impact during stabilization or assistance operations
- Coordination with vessel owners, marinas, ports, or appropriate response agencies when required
If You Need Help
- Share your location and vessel type
- Describe current conditions and any immediate hazards
- We’ll advise next steps and availability
Emergency response availability depends on weather, safety conditions, and access. For immediate danger to life, call 911 or the U.S. Coast Guard first.
