Braided white nylon line has been the traditional line of choice for divers for many decades. It does not float, giving the diver maximum control of the line in the water column. It also has a large amount of tensile strength. Nylon line also has just the right amount of stretch, allowing the line to be pulled quite firmly, and allowing it to retract to it’s original shape without losing any of its original tension. This is important to minimize the risk of entanglement.
